Welcome Aboard New City Employees

Heather O’Donnell, Community Coordinator.
Heather comes to us with 10 years of experience as an Activities Director, is ADC certified, and has 14 years’ experience in museum intergenerational art education, public relations, and event support. She also holds a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and a MEd from Temple University. She has spent half of her life in Virginia and the other half in Pennsylvania. She has been happily settled in the Charleston area the last two years. She and her husband, Matt, and adult children Jake, Nick, and Skye love everything about the Charleston area including the history, culture, food, natural beauty, fishing, golf and beaches. She is looking forward to supporting Folly Beach’s wonderful tradition of events and building on them and the changing needs of the community.

Peyton Smith & Steve Quinn, STR Code Enforcement Officer.
Hey! I’m Peyton Smith, a recent college graduate from Albion College in Michigan.  With prior experience in Code Enforcement in my hometown of Sandusky, Ohio,  I recently  moved to Charleston to begin my new career, to explore the Lowcountry, and to start my new journey. I am excited to meet the Folly Beach community and keep this amazing beach town beautiful. In my free time I like to read, find new recipes, and of course lie by the ocean!

Steve Quinn. Steve rounds out the STR team and has been here a few weeks already getting settled.  He is a married father of two and came to Folly from the NYS retirement system for the City of Binghamton.
Please call/email/or stop by to say hello if you haven’t already.
